PLEASE NOTE: As our name implies, our resources can only cover Leicester and its near environs. Regrettably we are not able to cope with calls county wide or from other counties. If you need help from further afield, please ring your local vet or the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999. Nationwide, the BHPS or St. Tiggywinkles may be able to help.

Note: Any hedgehog seen out during the day has a problem - do not ignore him. With gloved hands, wrap him in old towels or woollies, put on a covered warm (not hot) hot water bottle in a cardboard box somewhere dark, warm and quiet. Protect from flies and ring for help.

If you disturb a nest, do not touch the babies. Replace all the bedding and protect the nest from weather and further disturbance. Seek help as soon as possible.
