When staff at the main reception of Leicester General Hospital arrived for work one morning, there was already a patient waiting for them to unlock.

This patient was a little cold, thin hedgehog with sores on the top of his hind feet due to dragging them along the hard pavements but he knew where to go for help - what a clever fellow!

As all the wards were full and staff were not really geared up for "prickly" patients, Fred moved in with us for lots of TLC and treatment to clear all the nasties living inside him. Good luck Fred.
